My daughter loves her new jeep! She is 4 and a half years old and has been having lots of fun with it. Overall, the jeep is made very well and has some good features. I assembled the entire jeep(including decals) in under one hour. Straight forward instructions and minimal tool needs, the only problem I had in this is one of the pre-drilled holes in the roll bar was a little too big, so the self-tapping screw wouldn't hold. I was able to purchase a larger screw to solve this problem. It definitely has power, there are two forward speeds and one reverse, they are easily operated with a gear-shift located at the base of the seat. The radio works well, the seatbelts are kind of a joke and the map and backpack don't say or sing anything, like they have in other applications. The turning radias is fair, the battery is easily accessable and there is enough room for a friend to sit in the passanger seat.

Our son loves this Jeep. We live on a wooded lot and it has no problem going over the tree roots. The wheels aren't rubber, so traction is a bit of a problem. Fisher Price should change to rubber tires. Our son is only 2 and now knows (with a little help) how to put it in forward and reverse. Unfortunately, it doesn't have enough power at 2.5mph to make it up a small hill.

We ordered this Jeep in the first week of December, with plenty of time for Christmas. It shipped from PA within 3 days. However, two weeks later, we didn't have our Jeep. After many e-mails and phone calls (to Amazon AND Ceva), it finally arrived around Dec 15. Because of the headache, Amazon gave us free shipping.

This item is great, but Amazon's shipping is horrible. If you can find it in a store, buy it there.

The scooter is indeed slow, but we found it to be just the right speed for our 4-year old twins. They love cruising around the driveway on it.

The battery is a HUGE problem. Ours died in less than a year and it really is a huge hassle getting a replacement. As far as I know, you can only get one thru Pacific Cycle and when I called I am told they are on back order and they "hope" to have them in "in a few weeks". Try explaining that to your kids.

It's a fun toy, but if you buy it, start shopping for your replacement battery NOW so you have it when you need it!

You see, when you were a kid, did you know that you wait until your sixteenth birthday at least until you have a crack to get a behind the wheel of a car. But with a razor> Electric scooter, you can have the taste of the motor at a much younger population. All of a sudden, instead of concentrating on peddling or pushing, you go looking around the beautiful landscape. You can hear the hum of the small electric motor drive to school or the baseball field. It will not break any land speed records, but that's OK, you have the shackles of self drive with themselves broken.

Now some may say that the RazorElectric scooter only helps add to the problem of obesity in North America. Well, I have a different opinion. The electric scooter will benefit a lot more movement than playing video games in the basement. The electric scooter gets kids outside and exploring the interaction with their environment. These scooters have power supplies are not unlimited. It is inevitable that the battery will be exhausted to stop and go push the scooter, old schoolStyle.

Originally, I bought a Razor electric scooter for my 9-year-old son. What I soon found out that I wanted to ride the scooter. I live less than a mile from work. On the days when my son leaves his scooter'm at home, often driving it to work. You should have seen the look on some of my colleagues faces as I slid by them in the parking lot to the smooth sound linger makes the electric motor.

most worthless $350.00 I have ever spent
The battery for this truck worked on and off the first summer we bought it in 2006. Every summer since, the battery has died. I have gone through 2 more. I have spoken with the company and they sent me a new charger to install that should fix the battery problem. I received this part over the weekend, only to realize I will have to take the whole truck apart in order to install this one piece! This isn't some junky $10.00 toy. I spent over $300.00! I have been in contact with the company over the last 2 years, but now my warranty is up. As cool looking as this toy is and my boys love it the few times it's worked, I would not purchase it. You and your children will be very disappointed.

Looks fun so hopefully you child has a good imagination because they won't be going anywhere in it.
We've had nothing but problems with this thing. $[...] dollars down the tube and maybe one hour of fun max. Frusterating. The first battery NEVER worked, second battery replacement took MONTHS because it was out stock. And now that I need a new one because that one was was in storage during a move and now is dead and I learn I can't even buy a new one and the "KidTrax" stuff isn't interchangable.

If I was just out of luck now that the hands have changed on this product but had been able to have a fair amount of enjoyment before now I wouldn't be so hard on this product, but it's never been anything but trouble. Luckly I have the one good hour on film because it doesn't look like there will be anymore.

Great truck, bad shipping
The box looked like it had been shredded when it arrived. You could see inside the box, no side was sealed anymore, which was unacceptable. Strangely enough though, the truck wasn't damaged at all, only a couple of bolts were missing. I called the company and they overnighted the missing pieces to me. I was very impressed by the customer service I received. Haven't given the truck to my son yet, so no news on the actual item as of yet.

Unreliable and Dangerous
I purchased this truck just over a year ago, and had problems within the first month. The battery died and had to be replaced, then it stopped working again about 4 weeks later and I had to have a second battery replaced with a new "universal type" which required splicing into the harness since the original type battery (Safety 1st) is no longer available. Then 4 months ago, the reverse mode would not work, but only make the reverse "beeping sound" and just last month the final straw was when my son was riding it, he could not stop it! He even tried turning the "key" off to shut it, which did nothing. He literally drove down the driveway and into the street before I realized what was happening and ran to grab him! The ONLY was to stop it was to disconnect the battery cable. I tried reconnecting it, and it still happens sporatically, EXTREMELY unsafe to even risk letting him ride it. I cannot contact anyone who can/wants to help (Tonka, Safety First, Kid Trax, etc.) and just keep getting "passed around" being told it is no longer "their product". I HIGHLY suggest sticking with Power Wheels or better known brands. In dealing with the customer service which IS still Safety 1st...(which was absolutely horrible), expect nothing but the run-around without ever receiving any help.

do not purchase this if you live in the city. the car is big. you need plenty of room for your child to drive this around and it goes faster than you might think and it makes plenty of noise. i bought this for my 3 year old grandson; steering the car is not that easy, putting his foot on the pedal and just foward is easy enough but he has to bend down to the floor of the car to hit the button to go in reverse and then hit it again to go foward. but, beware, it does go!! and if there isn't open space it will go into anything in the way. I think a foot pedal car is a much better idea for a child.

Got What We Paid For
My wife and I brought this truck for our grandson who loves all kinds of trucks and he thought this one was great. It took a little while for him to grasp the whole driving concept, but soon put it together. It's his "big truck" now and he loves it. I thought the assembly was straight forward and the directions were clear and it took me a little over an hour to put it together. It seems to be a pretty durable product and well made.

Great 6V Power wheels truck
I bought this for my Son when he was 1 year old. He obviously couldn't drive it but he did like playing around it and putting toys in the back of the truck. When he was ready to play with it, I modified the foot pedal so that he could easily reach it. At 1.5 years old he was able to climb inside and press the foot pedal. I would have to catch/prevent him from running into things as he didn't understand steering but he loved to go forward. At 22 months he drives it around in the backyard but still doesn't understand steering so I have to occasionally move the wheel for him but he still loves driving this. He loves switch from forward/reverse and occasionally will turn the steering wheel but without understanding of what it's doing. I'm sure he's going to figure out steering soon but he still loves driving.

Worth Every Penny
A great toy beloved by my grandson and his brother. Great fun and great prestige as it rolls around the neighbourhood

Great value
This battery was a great value! It came fully charged and once installed had the older model Power Wheels Jeep working as though it was brand new.

Battery is POS
It only took me 1 month of non-aggressive usage (it was used maybe 10 times max) for this battery to become worthless and completely lose the charge in 2 minutes

Big Improvement
My wife bought a Jeep for my daughter at a garage sale for $5. The battery would last about 1/2 day. Now with the new one it has a lot more power and lasts days.

Original 6 Volt Power Wheels Battery
Original 6 volt Power Wheels battery. Durable and includes built in fuse to protect the battery and Power Wheels from overheating and catching fire. There are some alternatives to the original batteries, some of which can be less expensive. But that means you have to add your own fuse to the battery. The only reason to use batteries other than these factory ones is if you plan to modify your powerwheels to go faster using other batteries (i.e. running 18 volts into the 12 volt powerwheels system). Google it if you want more info. Otherwise, if you're not handy nor interested in modding your powerwheels, then this is the battery you're looking for.

Not As described!!!!
Like other people that bought the batteries....It was not the same battery and I am out 73.00!! There is no way to return it and I hope anyone else thinks twice before they buy off of here. You are better off paying the little bit extra to get what you need.

Perfect Power for Power Wheels
I purchased a replacement battery for our granddaughter's Power Wheels 4 wheeler. The battery was a perfect match as promised and our granddaughter loves it. She back on the road (not literally)again.

Fisher Price 6 volt battery.
We have a battery powered ride on toy that requires 2 of these batteries. The two that came with the toy lasted for 5 years. We purchased 2 more this year so that our daughter could enjoy the ride hopefully for another 5 years. I contacted the seller for help and they were quick to respond and had the best price that I could find. They shipped quick and the item arrived in a well packaged manner. I'd buy again from this seller in a heartbeat. Thanx

Check for Product Recalls
Let me first state, the picture for this product is the newer fixed battery, which was replaced for certain power wheels based on a lawsuit in which a child was severely burned.

My warning is to make sure your old power wheels are not using the older batteries. the new battery as pictured has a thick black battery connector, the old ones where white and much smaller.

In my case, the barbie power wheels were recalled some time ago. A neighbor gave me their child's old one, whose batteries were from 1995. I took the 1995 batteries to a local authorized dealer, and he immediately said you will need to exchange the batteries and charger due to a recall.

Long story short, you are buying the newer, fixed batteries, which may not fit your old charger. If this is the case, I suggest you find an authorized dealer and have them replaced (batteries are not replaced for free)

Lil Quad
My 2 yrs old son loves his lil Quad so much, he rides it in the house. This toy is durable and the charge lasts a long time. even my 6yr old daughter rides it although shes too big, it still rides fine. I would recommend this one.

Great Toy
I purchased this for my grandson more than a year ago. He was just 1 but had no problem learning to ride. He has never drained the battery in his 2 day visits. Everything has held up. We used it in the house where he could run into things and not damage them with the plastic bumper. Go job Fisher Price on a good toy and a great value. No I'm not an employee. At 2years old and over 35lbs my grandson may be getting ready for the next larger model.

Don't waste your money!
We received this as a Christmas gift and it was great for the short time it actually worked. Like other reviewers, we had similar battery issues (not available at any retail stores, took months to recieve the replacement, battery very expensive, etc.), but also other mechanical problems. Suffice to say, my kids now enjoy just "pretending" the thing works and playing in the fire truck and on the fire truck, since the fire truck itself hasn't run for over a year. Defintely not worth the money.

Kids love this!
Our 4 year old loves this firetruck. The 2 year old rides along - there is so much for both of them to do on the truck. They enjoy the water feature as well. Would recommend for ages 3 and up. It does go really fast.

My boys love this
Great time had by all. The only down side it how expensive a new battery is. My boys rode this so much we had to replace the wheels and the gears, but the company shipped them out to us free of charge. They were really easy to deal with. My boys still play with this fire truck.

Not worth it
This thing is a bigger tease than most strip clubs. Has all of the extra doo-dads (lights, siren, PA/microphone, water gun) that most other ride-ons do not. Unfortunately, the quality of this thing does not match those of even the most basic ride-on, non-battery powered vehicles. Within 2 DAYS of normal use by 1 3year old child, the fire truck developed stress cracks in the body along the sides of the inside of walls near the footwell. They looked to be heading down to the floor, who knows if they would stop there. There was absolutely no damage to the sides of the box at all when it was unpacked, and for this to occur with a solitary 35lb. rider is absolutely inexcusable. The water reservoir tank ruptured its seal the second time it was refilled and pumped. And you can forget about customer service stepping up to the plate and honoring their warranty...they were very slow to respond if at all, said it would take them a week to review the photos of the stress cracks (though it appeared the same customer service rep was judge/jury), and seemed intent on blaming it on a shipper issue beyond their control. No thanks, I'm not wasting my money on something this expensive, only to have my kid get more disappointed by the day.

Excellent Toy
We got this fire truck as our Christmas gift for our grandson Jaret in Oviedo, FL. He absolutely loves it. He waits patiently every afternoon for his dad to come home from work so he can ride it on the sidewalk. It is an excellent and sturdy toy.

Worth EVERY Penny - owned one for 11 years!
We bought a Power Wheels Barbie Jeep 11 years ago for our three year old daughter. The one listed here is slightly updated, with a real FM radio and back storage. However, everything else is identical. Our three year old daughter is now 14 years old. This jeep has been used by all three of my daughters, the youngest is now four years old. The Barbie jeep has lasted 11 years, and it's not like we took care of it like we should've. It's been left outside in the rain on numerous occasions and never skipped a beat. Last year (10 years after we bought it), we purchased a new Fisher Price Power Wheels battery as the old one finally gave out. The battery cost about $40, but we didn't mind, being that we didn't have to buy another vehicle anytime soon! I would say that ANY Fisher Price Power Wheels product is worth the money.

My parents wanted to buy my 3-year-old a riding toy so I researched everything out there. After reading many reviews, I decided upon the Fisher Price Barbie Jeep. We have a large grassy area for her to ride in. I was concerned about the traction of the wheels, but I must say that this jeep goes very well in the grass! We do have to give it a little push in bumpy areas or if the grass is damp. But, overall, we are VERY pleased with our choice! She LOVES it and wants to ride it EVERY DAY! It is very roomy and holds my daughter and her best friend easily. She also loves the radio - it picks up real stations! I highly recommend this wonderful vehicle for your toddler.

I Have My Dignity and Yours, too!
U know how you only get to ride on greatness maybe once or twice in your life? Maybe you're even one of the lucky few who get to ride on greatness with 2 other people (it's so great u want others to share in the greatness, right?) Well, would you believe I was in that very situation yesterday?! I know this is going to be hard to believe but I got to ride in a pink Barbie car yesterday and I'm not gonna lie, I not only felt like Barbie, but I also found some lint that fell off my shirt as I was skyrocketing around and around and around and around and around and...around! Spiderman pointed at me and mouthed "I endorsed this car." For those of you who think a pink Barbie car might not be the in thing, I would advise you to look at the pros: the word pink only has 4 letters and Barbie only has 6 letters, add 3 more letters with car, and you're up to 13. Oh wait! This review is supposed to be for a Barbie jammin' jeep? Yeah, well, a Barbie jeepin' jammin' jeep is probably uhhhh cool, too. Let's look at the pros: Barbie has 6 letters and jammin' jeep has has more than 6 letters. I don't feel like counting again, so it's probably a cool number. Now that I think about it, that's just mediocre cool, but u should still by this product for your kids because uhhhh Barbie is watching.

Hours of fun!!!
Very happy with this product. A little duct tape on the wheels and it goes just about anywhere. You can get black duct tape too if the silver takes away from the look of the jeep. Our 4 yr old drives around the 2 yr old and they have a blast. It even survived a 4 day camping trip in the woods with 5 toddlers breaking it in! Highly recommended!!

JEEP FUN!!!
I bought this toy for my 2 year old daughter's birthday. Both she and my 4 year old daughter love it!!! My 2 year old is still a little too short to reach the pedal, but she has fun just being the passenger while her sister drives. It has a slow speed which is good for my 2 year old and a faster speed which my nieces and nephew prefer. I would recommend this toy for great fun for the kids and good entertainment for the adults watching the kids have fun.
